Aloha Nui Loa. Jeff and I made another impromptu trip up to Raleigh and surprised our good friend Thien. We pulled the same shit last year, LOL. Without telling him, we totally just showed up at his weekly gig - Bumble - at Busy Bee. He was pretty shocked to say the least. The look on his face - priceless.

THIS YEAR we tried switching it up. The plan was to hangout at this coffee shop he frequents, and just kinda “run into him.” I was certain he’d stop by there to get a coffee before going to set-up. Well, little did we know he works late on Thursdays and basically goes straight to his gig from work… what a bust! He was still extremely surprised once we shuffled our way into the bar.

The weekend ended up like always, incredible. Great people, delicious food and thumping tunes… what more could you ask for? I love my friends.
